The Abstractions of Rain

Image
The Abstractions of Rain Drizzles of rain. Showers of pain. Invisible. Flashes of thunder. Reminders of the past. Haunted. Gloomy skies. Depressed nights. Wet pillow. Cries of clouds. Sounds of irritation. Hurts. Rushing winds. Cold drizzles. Slaps. Unattended ponds. Shrieks of splash. Stranded. Mist of drench. Smog of negativity. Unclear.

The Angels of Rain

Image
The Angels of Rain “Look, look! There they are!” “Where?” “Over us—look there!” “Oh… rain’s coming?” “Yes, yes. The angels will make it rain.” “Hmm...” Why is it that one has tears rolling down her cheeks, and the other wears a big smile on his face? Why does one live in the past, buried in sorrow, while the other lives in the present, full of joy? Why does the rain sometimes feel... sad? It’s because— one is letting go of her burden, and the other is smiling for her— because she is healing. It’s because— one has been clinging to the past, grieving it, regretting it... while the other has learned to accept it— and now chooses to live fully in the present. And if you look closely, you’ll see it too: the joy hidden inside the rain. A.V

Before The Rain

Image
Before The Rain The winds rushing through the windows, with an essence of winters. Clouds start to speak for themselves, and we hear a clap of thunder. The daylight gets weaker, and it feels like dusk. Flashes of past and future, and thunder coming down. The skies cry, and water pours down. It's, raining again.  A.V
