ENDLESS DARKNESS
ENDLESS DARKNESS
The night falls,
The moon fades,
The stars die.
The blind wind stirs—
and now,
there is no difference
between slumber
and open eyes.
The birds fall silent,
while crickets sing
in the dancing grass.
The fireflies appear—
shining a little,
but enough.
As I lose myself to sleep,
these little fellas
come to light my world.
